Answer in-person, phone, and email reference questions from a diverse clientele. Specialize in science and health science. Hours include evenings and weekends.

Liaison to science and health science faculty. Order books in all science and health science disciplines. Launched a zero-rejection system to cope with an erratic budget.

Administer STN searching and maintain it as a FREE service via vigilant gate keeping.

Teach bibliographic instruction classes in biology, chemistry, nursing, occupational therapy, statistics, and environmental science.

Create, update, and teach a lab-style one credit library skills course with a web-mounted syllabus, a web board, and web-based backups of all assignments.

Handouts, Annotated Links and Tutorials

Converted the library's science webliographies to a searchable database of annotated links. Find, update, and annotate more than one thousand science-related links.

Created and updated handouts for CBE citation style, Voyager/Endeavor searching, and database searching under a variety of vendor interfaces for Ebsco, ProQuest, Wilson, Illumina, JStor, Ingenta, and Highwire, among others.

Integrated new databases in to GALILEO, the state sponsored database system, via the GALILEO Local Resource Initiative.
